A baby is getting laughs!ĭylan Burnett hasn’t dropped the ball yet on this series. Bringing in Cable and the different Guardian teams is probably just bringing a smile to his face while he is writing them. He has his comedic timing down, and he is clearly having fun writing these issues. I am reading his other series’ as well, and this one is my favorite. I will say that like all the previous issues it leaves us waiting for more mayhem that is most certainly comingĭonny Cates is crushing this book. As always, I will not spoil that here because you should be reading this comic. If you have been reading other review sites, then you know what the final splash page holds. In a comical set of panels, Cable keeps traveling back and getting new Guardians for this task while Frank keeps destroying them. The stars here are Frank, Baby Thanos and the various versions of Guardians that Cable brings in.
This issue we get some more of him, but almost as a tertiary character. In the last issue, we got to see some of Uatu The Watcher.
In this issue, Frank must find a way to keep said baby shielded from seeing violence and protect him from the strange Guardians of the Galaxy that have come to murder him. That meant not displaying violence, and more importantly, keeping him safe from people who want Baby Thanos dead. When we last left Frank Castle, he was still trying to protect Baby Thanos and make sure he didn’t grow up to be the Thanos we all know. This issue injects more craziness into the mix, and I couldn’t be happier about breaking it down for you. In the previous issue, we were left staring at a bizzaro Guardians of the Galaxy led by Cable. I don’t remember waiting every month for a Marvel title as I do with this one. I can’t get enough of Cosmic Ghost Rider.
